It's Technique Tuesday: We R Memory Keepers Stamp Positioner Tutorial

This is for my mommy!!!!  For Christmas, I got her the We R Memory Keepers stamp positioning tool.  I didn't have enough time to give her a proper tutorial, so I decided, it should be a Technique Tuesday video!  The funniest part about this video is that I keep calling the 'G' stamp a positioned instead of a guide.  I have no idea why... and watching it back, I just keep giggling!
Happy crafting!

It's Technique Tuesday! Homemade Scrap Paper Holder

Do you have an excess of scrap paper?  At my day job, I have no accumulated over two reams of scrap paper.  We do a lot of reconciliation and nothing beats a pencil and paper!  However, even though we recycle, I typically save the paper, chop it in half, staple it at the top and use the back of the paper as scrap.  I decided I wanted to figure out how to make a scrap paper holder.  It came out so cute that I decided I would make one for each of my staff members.  Measurements are in the video and also on my blog.  Happy Crafting!

Measurements:
Base: 6" x 9" (scored at 1" all around)
Top: 6" x 11" (scored at 2 1/2" all around)

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #191

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Thank you for joining us at AHSC #191.  It is such a busy time of year for all of us and I needed a quick 'pick me up' card for a co-worker.  I hope these little birds can do the trick!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #183

Welcome to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch!  I was having super fun playing with my gelli plate and some new acrylic paints I picked up.  The pinky reddish background was a result of the gelli plate and stencils.  I truly love working with this technique.

Once they were dry, I used embossing paste and glitter and a pumpkin patch stencil.  I colored the pumpkins with my spectrum noir markers and added a few embellishments.

I hope you'll consider designing a card for the challenge this week!  Thank you for stopping by!

It's Technique Tuesday! Gelli Plate printing for card backgrounds!

I am just loving playing with my Gelli Plate.  It has been my go-to in the craft room lately.  I'm not sure if I like making a mess or the end results better!

This is the first Technique Tuesday video since my relocation to Georgia.  I'm still trying to figure out the lighting, sound, etc - so this was the first attempt.

I hope you enjoy this video!  If you love the Gelli Plate as much as I do, there are also more economical printing plates available on Amazon.  They are new to the market and people are seeing good results.  Enjoy!
