2 Crafty Critter Crazies November Challenge - Sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle

Happy November!  I'm so honored to be the guest designer for November here at 2 Crafty Critter Crazies!  This month is sponsored by Sparkle N Sprinkle - by far - my favorite adhesive supplier of all times!
This image is Hummingbirds and Flowers.  This card is full of shine and shimmer and ACTION!  I separated the hummingbird from the flower and attached her to a penny so she could slide in and out.  This was a ton of fun to make and very easy!

I printed the image on my laser jet printer.  Once I separated the bird from the flower, I ran the bird through my Minc with blue Decofoil.  I used my gelatos on the hummingbird and blended with a baby wipe.  She is so shiny and wonderful!

I used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle Markers for the flowers and a Spectrum Noir Alcohol Marker for the individual leaves.  The background is one of the Crafter's Companion 3D embossing folders and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #235 Fabulous!

Welcome to Sketch #235 at Atlantic Hearts Sketch!  We're so glad you have joined us.

This weeks card was inspired by a video from Jennifer McGuire a few months ago.  I used the Altenew Garden Treasure stamp set and for the first layer, I used VersaMark Ink and Perfect Pearls.  The second layer was plain VersaMark Ink, which pulled up some of the Perfect Pearls.  Then I stamped the final layer in Stamping' Up Ruby Red ink.  I did the same process with the leaves.  I added some white to the center of the flower with a white gel pen.

I cut the individual leaves out and then used the stitched rectangular dies to cut the card base out.  I added a border from Crafter's Companion on silver glitter paper and mated on white cardstock.  The sentiment is also from Crafter's Companion.  Added a few gemstones from Fun Stamper's Journey and waaaa laaaa!

Happy Crafting!

4 Crafty Chicks #373 Pattern Paper

How cute is this little Newton - looking all angelic before a night of Halloween festivities!

the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge this week was to use three different types of pattern paper!  I was so happy I bumped into this Halloween paper bundle!

I'm also so excited to join the Cat Lovers Blog Hop!!  I hope to do a second entry when I get back to Georgia.  Spending some time with family in Connecticut!  Happy Halloween!

Hocus Pocus! Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween!  Isn't this little gal adorable!  This image is from Digital Delights.

I printed her on white cardstock and colored in with my Spectrum Noir Markers.  I colored the stars on her hat with a Spectrum Noir Silver Glitter Pen.  Then..... I spent an hour flocking her hat!!!!!  It is so soft and fuzzy in person!  I added a few rhinestones to the cauldron and some clear sparkle to her cheeks and ears.  She's so wonderful!

I used Peerless watercolors to create the background and added some stars from Lawn Fawn.

I hope you enjoy and join us at Creative Knockouts this week for the Halloween Challenge!

I also entered this card in the Crafty Calendar October Challenge!

A Bosses' Day Big Thank You!

My staff surprised me for Bosses' Day and I remain speechless.  I am so incredibly honored to work with this group of women.  It is unusual to have a group of women who do work this well together without all that other 'stuff'.  We do have moments of it... we are women... we all have a common goal and do love the company we work for.  These cards are thank you notes I will have give them - once I can find the words to express my gratitude.

Happy Bosses Day!  I am grateful to those fantastic bosses I have had in the past who imparted their wisdom and taught me how I wanted to lead... and I am grateful to those nameless few that showed me exactly what not to do as a boss.

Happy Fall! What a wonderful time of year...

Happy Fall, Everyone!

I was so excited when I came across this die from Amy Designs!  I die cut is several times and started layering the leaves, pumpkins, and the mushrooms - which I added a few white dots to.... because, I grew up with the Smurfs, and all red mushrooms have white spots!  Because I wanted to join in on the Newton's Nook Fall Challenge, I came across this little Newton, who was originally clinging to a birthday cake, and cut him out so it looked like he was using the frame as a scratching post.... or sniffing the leaves.  :)  I turn the frame into a window - and added a sentiment from Inkadinkado.
I entered this card in the 4 Crafty Chicks Fall Challenge and Newton's Nook Inky Paws Fall Challenge.  Happy Fall!

Happy Halloween! Creative Knockouts Card Challenge #215

Happy Halloween!!!  Welcome back to another Creative Knockouts Card Challenge.

This week we are sponsored by Oddball Art.  You can find these images on Etsy.  The challenge this week was to keep it clean and simple.  I'm not sure I kept it simple - but I am so pleased with the results.

I took the digital image and had some fun placing them in all sorts of directions in a Microsoft Word document.  I printed that on black cardstock with  my laser jet printer and then used my Mini Minc to adhere Rose Gold Deco Foil to the paper.  I just love these shiny little candy corn monsters.  I also printed out one of the candy corn and colored him in with my Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers.

The sentiment is from an older Little Yellow Bicycle stamp set.

Thank you for stopping by!  Happy Halloween and Happy Crafting!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #233 Challenge 'Trick or Treat'

Trick or Treat!  Thank you for visiting us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch this week!  I have been in a Fall mode and I'm so excited for the cooler weather to start in Georgia.  It's my third fall here and it can be just glorious!  It's hard to see, but the moon is made with distress oxide inks, which blend so beautifully!  The pumpkin is from Newton's Nook and colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle markers.
Thank you again for visiting!  Happy Crafting!

4 Crafty Chicks - Easel Card

I can't take credit for the design... someone on the Newton's Nook Design Team created an easel card and I just had to make one for the 4 Crafty Chicks Easel card challenge.  I took the challenge literally this time!  :)
This is Newton, from the Newton Mischievous set, colored with Spectrum Noir Markers and added to a piece of chalkboard paper.  I even used chalkboard markers to start the alphabet!

Rubbernecker Card Challenge #18 Anything Goes

I felt like making a mess today and playing with metal flake again!  I fell in love with this Rubbernecker Stamp 'Flourish Tree.'  I stamped the image with flitter glu and then added the metal flake.  It makes such a mess but it so worth the final product.  It is hard to capture all of the colors in a single picture.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp.  The little accent key I bought at a flea market years ago.  When I was looking for what to place in that area, I came across the key and it seemed to be a perfect fit.
